I might be able to trade the "on-call" weekend with someone…close to the meet date. We will have to see. As far as I know, I am still good to go.

OH...I am going to the 2006 Dallas Car Show at the Dallas Convention Center on April 5th (Wed)...I am hoping to get there around 4:00PM... in case someone want to meet me and my friend there.

Probably not, My car will be in the shop while we are on the honeymoon. Someone backed into my front end so I need the bumper redone, and a new grill. I get it back on the 24th. We get back on the 20th. Spending 8 days in Rome, and the wedding is this weekend.

So far...I think I can ask someone to cover me on April 22. I think we should leave earlier than last year…like 8:00AM? So we can pick a good BBQ spot and parking spot.

I am questionable for the Austin meet for now. My dad want to change out the timing belt in the 3000GT because he said the belt look worn and might break soon.

We finally got the tranny back on the 3000GT two weeks ago, it ran pretty good. It cost us (actually him) $700.00 to have the tranny rebuilt by the local tranny shop…they replaced some internal parts (gears and clutches) and a new torque converter.

In addition, one of my backup person that I normally asked to cover my "On-call" will not be able to help me out this time, because she is going to Hawaii with her husband.

Therefore, I am stuck trying to get the timing belt replaced and find someone to cover my "On-call" duty this weekend.
