shud i get new shocks?

hi guys just had my car drop in front. springs cut for about 1 1/2 circumference. the look of the car is great but the ride is not. what shud i do? need some advice here... i think the problem is the shocks, it only plays about an inch. any sugestions guys?

its not just the shocks, u cut the springs thats the problem u never ever cut springs, you can buy drop springs, and get new shocks that will safely and comfortibly lower the car

oh and check out the suspension area of the forum

By lopping off 1.5 coils, you've increased the spring rate of the front springs anywhere between 40% and 60%. That's way too high for the stock dampers to handle. Between that and the front end constantly bottoming out on bumps, your front dampers are bound to be dead, if not dying.

Like ICP Sux0rz! said, you'll need new springs and dampers if you want your car to ride comfortably again.

whoever gave you the idea to cut the springs should be considered someone who provides knowledge that is worthless and could cost you your life.

don't ever, ever cut springs. Invest in springs and dampers properly.
