NEW MEMBER With question

Hello everyone, i recently joined after reading and wishing i could ask my own question reguarding my 99 sentra GXE. I really enjoy the feedback from others who know a great deal about nissan aftermarket parts and the best places to purchase them. My question involves springs. I viewed many long threads concerning lowering springs and was woundering if anyone knew the factory spring length, diameter, and rate for the front and rear springs of a B14. If not where could i go to get this info. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Nissan actually used several different spring combinations in the B14 Sentra/200sx. Depending on the trim and whether you had a manual or automatic transmission, the springs were slightly harder or had a longer free length. There's a set of tables in the B14 factory service manual that has most of the information you're looking for.

The only figures you won't find in the FSM are the rates for the springs. I was able to calculate approximate spring rates for the fronts (results in this thread), but because the rears are progressively wound, I don't have good estimates for the rest of the car.
