I've been looking around for info to get the struts replaced on my 1996 200sx. I'm at 156,000mi and still on the OEMs, I figure it's time to replace them.
From what I've gathered, the KYB-GR2s are the most popular if you want to keep your stock springs, as I do. I called around and Les Schwab will do them (all four) for ~$475, including alignment. They normally install Gabriels but will order the GR2s for me. Does anyone have experience with Gabriel struts? I'm really just looking for a smooth ride although I'd be willing to trade a bit for improved handling.
