Hard to believe no one answered this.
If you aren't looking to spend a significant amount of money, just get good factory replacement dampers to replace your stock ones (and keep your stock springs). The reason I'm suggesting this over lowering springs/coil-overs is because swapping to any kind of performance springs (and matching performance dampers) usually knocks you out of the "stock" classes. If this is going to be your first time autocrossing, you really don't want that.
If your stock dampers are still in working condition, you can just go out on your stock suspension system. Sure you may not feel like you're driving a race car, but you would be surprised to see just how much performance you can extract out of the factory equipment.
