Unhappy Will my 17 inches help?

I recently bought dropzone springs (2 inches drop) and i know theyre not the best i found that out after i bought it in this helpful site, and i was thinking of buying kyb gr-2 shocks and struts, and i have 17 inch rims too(could the wheels help?). But i read that i will bottomout alot, if i dont get shortened struts. what do you think i can do if i do that setup, people say i can shave the top of the bottomstop or get mounts, and which mounts will help me more? front or rear? Thanks alot, help would be much appreciated.
