Question S14 240SX recommended setup?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for upgrading the suspension on a 95-98 240SX. I'm planning on buying one when I return from overseas next year. I just want something that will give me good handling without destroying the ride quality. I don't have a giant budget so performance vs. dollar value is a major factor. This isn't for auto-x or anything. Mainly for attacking mountain roads and such.

TIA--Fulcrum
