wheel question, b14s

i put the stock 15" se-r rims back on my car(96 200) because i am delivering chinese food and the 18s are too rough a ride. i thought the car would be faster with the stock, small rims, after hearing so in the forums, but it is noticiably slower. doesn't pull as hard. what's the real story with wheel size?

main things to consider, wheel weight and size.
for ride quality, dampening and springs and then tires. less sidewall, rougher ride for example.

yeah, for real. another guy that works there has got a classic, classic, gsr, problably the first year vtec came out, and its pretty quick. a couple of my friends that used to work there were delivering in a 95 z28 and an rx7, respectively. both cars got about 30 gallons to the mile so they had to quit delivering. pussies.
