Tension rods, Tie rods and tranny mounts OHH MY ???

I just got a 240 recently and i put it on the lift and found that the front tension rod bushings are blown out, the tranny mount is broken and the tie rod boots are ripped.

My question is should i just replace these parts with nissan parts or should i go with after market and if so where can i find these parts???????

I do plan on trying my hand at drifting at when i get these suspention issues worked out if it makes any difference.

Hmm... I'm surprised no one answered this earlier. I don't own a 240 but I can reccomend stuff that friends have used.

The tie rods boots are about $12 apiece from reputable Nissan dealerships. I personally like Courtesy Nissan and Everything Nissan.com. If the tie rods themelves are damaged, the Tein Tie Rods are supposed to be a decent choice. They're less expensive than stock replacements and they're built to correct some of the flexing issues with the stock tie rods.

As goes bushings, you're probably going to want to look into Energy Suspension's polyurethene bushings before heading to the dealership. They're generally accepted as the manufacturer to go with when it comes to replacing the stock bushings on our cars.

Good luck!
