Stopping power

I'm getting the SR20DET put in, and I wanna upgrade my brakes on my 96' 200SX. I wanna get bigger brakes, but the problem is, if I go to big, my stock wheels wont fit for when I wanna use them in the winter. Ne1 have ne experince with upgrade brakes for better stopping power without getting bigger rotors?

Unfortunately,
Steelies will not fit over anything but stock brakes. Better pads are a short term fix but may overwhelm the car overtime.
Best bet is to get bigger steelies, or 15-16 inch cheapo wheels for the winter.
Then just put the bigger brakes inside.

So you're saying you can't put steelies on an NX2000?

NX2000 will work with winter tires... but I agree, get a set of bang-around rims
