Springs and Shocks

I just installed H & R springs in my 96' 200sx. I did not install any new shocks though. Does it really matter? I mean, i know it makes a differences ride-wise, but is it something crucial to change the shock and springs at the same time?

It is recommended. Even if you do change to some shitty struts. Compared to the OLD, USED ones, they work better! But I know people running springs on their stock struts, so I wouldn't worry about it. But that should be your next "Thing-To-Do".
