Front Brake Upgrage/Rear conversion

I'm wanting to get my front brakes upgraded on my 98 sentra and also get my rear drum brakes converted to disk brakes.

My question is.

Can my front disk brakes be used for my rear brakes once i buy the conversion kit? Also, what all needs to be done to get the drum brakes converted to disk? I know I can buy some brackets that will allow me to use disk brakes but I don't know what else needs to be done.

Advice, suggestions, instructions, anything is helpful.

No you cannot use your fronts as rears. As for the conversion, search nissanperformancemag.com they have a how-to article on this VERY subject.

Well, if you've got some basic fab skills you can. I made my own front brake setup on my GA16/B13 (1984 Dodge Daytona rotors, 1.375"-piston Wilwood calipers), and therefore I had some spare stock front rotors laying around. I decided to use them on the rear of the car to eliminate the drums. I used the 1" pistoned 4-pot Wilwoods and a custom bracket that bolts to the upright, and welded a bracket in place for a Wilwood spot caliper (for emergency brake), and all was set. I have about $400 spent on (4) rear calipers, and maybe 6 hours of labor to template/fabricate/install the setup on the car.
