Springs/Coilovers/Or?

For my 1992 S13 240SX.

Please discuss, keeping in mind price, and that I'm not going to be doing any real racing... I want about an inch drop, only for tighter cornering etc.

Is it really necessary to spend $1500 (CDN) for a set of decent coilovers, or will I be just as happy with a set of much cheaper H&K Springs? Is there another option I haven't heard about?

A set of lowering springs, and some decent struts will allow your lowered look without sacrificing too much of the ride.

give me a call and I'll help you get what you need.

Kinda makes me wonder. I want to lower the car for handling issues. Lower center of gravity, makes the car feel far better in corners.

I'm doing this for an improvement in the ride (not looks. People don't like my car? Too bad. Buy a honda.) Why would I want to do something that will sacrafice what I'm trying to improve? Unless you mean ride comfort? If so, I'm used to hard, lowered suspentions, on tires that are hard as rocks. Ride comfort isn't a big issue for me.

This is gonna have to wait until I get a little bit more cash anyways... just trying to figure out what I'm going to do until then.
