Maximum drop for 98 Sentra

I want to drop my girls car but im not sure if it can handle the 2" springs. I was thinking coilovers but i dunno how far it can go down.

2" drop will be fine. Just make sure that you throw on some good shocks/struts at the same time (AGX's, etc). You don't need to go with coilovers unless you're gonna be taking the car to the track.

BTW, you can do up to a 4" drop with coilovers (not recommended unless the car is sitting still).

So you don't think my tires will rub with a 2" drop? They're awful wide... but I have to drop my car at least a little bit so I won't have these awful gaps from where I put new rims on my car.. heh.

You really shouldn't put wider than a 205 width tire on a Sentra. Anything wider is overkill and will most likely rub. I've got 205's and I'm riding a little over 2" lower with no problems.
