sup ppl. i did the sr20deet swap in my car but, there's a problem with my speed gauge and door light does work? i don't know why but can anyone help me. thanks

Is it all of your illumination, like the defrost switch, and radio. Does your clock light work before your lights are on then go off when the are? You need to test your time control unit. If you have an FSM of your 240sx or what ever it is. It is probably one of a few things. But you should test the TCU first before replacing it. If you get through the procedure of testing continuity on the TCU, then the instructions say to replace the TCU. Go to a junk yard that has your model/year range, as these are really expensive at the Nissan dealer or even online at courtesy parts, like $250!!! I went to the junk yard and they even gave me a warranty on it too. I replaced the TCU and all the lights work fine. hope this helps you if not then your car is probably cursed!! Take care.

were is the TCU? like non of my lights work. clock, speed, and i tryed to do my radio and the wires dont work too. i got the wire instructions how to wire it up. still nothing but if this is the problem then lets hope so. Thanks

you really really need to get the shop manual of your car. You need it. Especially if your not going to take your car to a mechanic. The TCU is the little white box in the driver's kick panel, you know, where the fuzes are. But anyway you should run continuity tests that are found in the manual FIRST, so get the manual. 'Cause if you just replace the box you could still fry it again without testing the wires. Get the manual. You can find it at 240sx forums (I don't go there anymore, no one cares there). or sure the web for it. I have a copy of it myself. You can buy it on e-bay for cheap or go to Heavy throttle's website and buy it from them. All the best!!!
