the z32 maf will handle 400hp i was told. Only get it when you get bigger injectors, turbo, intercooler, intake, fuel pump, fuel regulator. Unless you want it right off the bat.

Best advice yet.
Seriously though...none of you will ever out flow a Z32 MAF, and, it can handle more than 500hp.....in addition to that...if you are flowing over 500hp chances are youll be using a stand alone ECU and wont be using a MAF anyway.

can the maf sensor give u power even if your not boosting more than stock. Im asking because i want to switch over but im not planning to up the boost any time soon.
If your not planing on upping the boost don't bother with the maf upgrade. the difference would be vary minimal if you even notice any difference at all. pluss you do have to get the ecu reprogramed.
Like everyone says, the maf can handle up 2 500HP, so thats as far as maf upgrades goes unless you go stand alone. There are other mafs out there you can use, so long as u know the wiring, pinouts etc..
If you do decide to go with a Z32 maf early on, then u will need a retune, safc or other means of interpreting the voltage readings from the maf.
You also need to get custom intake piping or adaptor(for both sides), or a kit which will consist of everything you need ie piping mafa adaptor filter..
