Cost of outsourceing an engine swap.

New to the whole 240sx thing. I ran a few searches, didn’t find much in what I was SPECIFICLY LOOKING FOR.

I'm limited in time, resources, space, tools, skills and apparently mechanically inclined friends. The end result is I feel it would be next to impossible for me to ever perform an engine swap at this point in the game.

Another issues, being a Midwestern (not by choice), I'm also limited to choice in cars. 240s seem to pop up here and there, but they are either beaten to death overpriced "drifterz!!@! 1337!!!@#$" or simple, decent priced, decent condition autos.

Shoot two birds with one wallet I figure, get one of these autos, and have the engine and trannie swapped out. Does anyone have a general clue what this would run for? I really can't call up and ask anyone because I would have to take the car out of state to a distance shop to do this. (That is unless I find one locally who would be willing to swap an import, and know what their doing, some V8 Detroit Iron guys around here).

Thanks,
Jack
