hey guys, I'm new to this board,
I don't own a nissan but got something from it
anyways..I bought these injectors from a guy on ebay and now I'm looking for 3 more (or a full set)..for my mx-3 2.5 jdm turbo
I noticed they were different versions of the sr20det (not something for you guys but it his for me)..so does it matter if I don't get injectors from the same year/engine..What I mean is I know the sr20det 370cc injectors came in the s13 ans s14 (correct me if I'm wrong) but wondering if they're was any difference between the 2..
I found a full set of injectors on ebay that I want to buy but noticed they're not the same colour as mine...I ask the guy if they were the same as mine (red top) and he said yes (but his are blue top)...
Is it possible that the red top and blue top are the same injectors.??

do you mean red top as in the colour on the top of the injector plug?
yes that's what I meant
so I could take sr20det blue top injectors (top of the injector that is blue) and mix them with red top injectors (top of the injector that is red) with no problem what so ever even though they are not from the same car but are both 370cc?

they are interchangable in a set. You cant mix different flow rate injectors. Also if you change flow rates you have to compensate with ECU tuning or a piggyback system.
I think nissan used a different colour for every injector size.

really ? because I saw many times for sale sr20det injectors and they were 370cc..and some were black, red or blue top injectors
id they are different flow rate..does anybody know what colour correspond to waht size ?
They are from different variants of the SR20DET
The purple-grey ones (the blue ones actually arent blue) are from an S13 SR, red ones are probably from a bluebird or something FWD.
I would only ever use a set of the same colour. Im sorry I dont know if the red ones can fit in an S13 SR20DET for example.
