SR20VET vs. SR20DET

wouldn't a neo vvl have the same bullet proof bottem end as DET? and since only certain variable are differs on these, shouldn't the slug kit for a DE bolt on to VE (may not directly due to the obvious diffs) but there is much more utilizable power here isn't there ? so bassicly all (or mosT) 2.0 sentra parts would go right on or into the neo?

SR bottom ends are far from bullet proof(nizmodore can tell you some stories about SR's)...but they have basically the same bottom end...as far as turbo kits go, im not sure...

they are more bullet proof than say a family II opel 1.8 or an E15T... thats the whole point.
You can bold a VE head onto a DE bottom end - they are pretty much the same design

yeah but if the fundamental engine design was radically different, it would have been given a different engine code :P
