aight well my car is misfiring and my idle is all fucked up and ive been backfiring like crazy(liek bigger ones then ive ever had before)...i dont know whats wrong with my car ...i was wonderin if anyone could help me ..bc im new with the whole sr20 engine and stuff... appreciate all posts...thanks

first guess is old plugs.

check plugs, make sure they are gapped correctly and that you are not runnig too rich or too lean, based on rich/lean observation make sure your fuel pressure is correct, if both are correct, check your 02 sensor, make sure it is working, SR20DET has 3 wire O2 sensors that require 12v. 2 white wires on the O2 need +12v and Ground doesn't matter which one gets + or -. make sure Signal wire you extended from 02 sensor to computer is correct guage as factory one and that it's shielded.
