i know that Arizona smog and California smog have a lot in common and the AZ smog covers the entire car but i was wondering if you can have a Japanizes engine (sr20det) and pass smog? In AZ? thanks guys.
My CA passes and Opium's RB passed.... More of the SR guys out here passed... so, i guess that means yes... There are even places in AZ that don't have emmisions (extremely small towns) Where you moving to? where you moving from?

kewl, i was wondering the same thing. heres another question that ive heard of. does it matter what year engine you use? what i mean is, if you have a 93, does it have to be a 93 or newer engine or can it be ANY year?
leagaly the engine must be the same year or newer than the car. But you can put an older one if you want to, im not sure how they would know but if you put an old one in it is Illegal.
To be truthful... it doesn't seem like they know/care what engine came in what, out here... I saw a street legal Z32 with a 350 in it... and its hard to not tell that theres a blower sticking out the hood with a beastly sound. so i guess that answers your Q Asleep... Like xO said legally it has to be same/newer but in reality they dont care to check... Soon but not yet...

but yea, im always up at sonic on 35th and union hills.
where does everyone usualy meet at, im kinda getting boared with sonic, we get kicked out from the surounding areas all the time, its getting annoying.
you can go to the f1 kart factory on 48th st and washington. they actually ALLOW you to hang out there. call swa for times and stuff. but its usually every saturday night.
