i'm kinda new to this. just bought a sr20det to swap into my '93 240sx. can anyone tell me the clutch that you'd buy for this engine? will the ka24de clutch work? thanks.
the ka24 clutch will probably not work. when you say you bought a sr20det, do you mean the engine by itself?? or did you buy a motorset or frontclip?? if you have both engine and transmission, the clutch should've came with it... why don't you just upgrade your clutch while your donig the swap?? act clutch upgrades are about 300$
it's an engine and transmission from a silvia. just wondering b/c a lot of times the clutch gets a bit abused, so was wondering about a higher performance model.
i would buy a act streetstrip clutch. not a puck, i hate mine! i'd rather have 100hp less and the normal clutch.
spec star....no, i have seen over 5 of these break in first 5000 miles.
