Question ecu interchangability

i have emailed a couple shops about this and gotten no reply yet. what i am wondering is if you have an ecu from a fwd sr20det, and its been reprogrammed and mapped by jwt to work w/a rwd sr20det....will the ecu plug right into the rwd harness? or do you need to cut and splice in the harness from a fwd sr20? any help is appreciated.

thats sounds like way to much work for what its worth. its would be ten times easier and problay overall ceaper then paying someone to reprogram that one. Just go out a buy a RWD ECU you can get a tunned one for like 300. But good luck

im asking for a friend...jwt has already reprogrammed their ecu and made it to work in rwd. he just needs to know if he can use the rwd det harness or if he needs to splice a fwd one.

you can use your factory harness with your det engine. you might have to extend a few wires to some sensors on the engine though. you will also have to swap a few sensors from your usdm engine.
