Top But Since I"ll Be Re-Building Everything I"ll Save The Money And Buy The
Red Top Even Thoe The S14 BLK Top Has Better Heads Etc...... With Kind
Of Set up "With Goal In Mind" Would You Recommend?

i would actually recommend an S13 SR over a S14 SR. its easier to buy aftermarket cams and such with a S13 motor since you don't have to deal with VTC, which is on the S14 motor.

well understand that if you looking at 600 hp witch is aiming very high for the sr but not impossible. its pointless to get the s14 black top. since your gonna have to do a whole entire valve job. your gonna practically eliminate the valve timing of the s14 sr. how much is your budget first off. your gonna be putting a whole lot of money into this car to acheive 600hp. im at about 20k and i wont be pushing near 600.
