SR20DET to Infinity G20 auto tranny?

I was just wondering if you could even bolt a Bluebird up to an auto-tranny in a G20? Would it last for very long? I know it is going suck swapping to a manual so i just want to prolong it as long as possible but the engine is already on its way with the mating manual tranny.

It's possible, but you'd need the other parts off of the G20 sr. flex plate, torque converter, etc. You'll probably kill the clutch bands, but such is life. I'd reccomend an external tranny cooler.. Something good though.

the only one i know of is a Flex-A-Lite 4 or 6 pass. I have only used one of these on 1 other car so im not very familiar with them so if theres a better brand with at least a 6 pass you should let me know but i kind of like the one i had. Also would i need to actually buy or fabricate anything to do this swap or should it just drop in with the parts from the engine and the G20.
