tach problem

ive been having a tach problem ever since i had my sr IT is a 91 Tach and it still doesnt work. i just used a volt meter to check the volts of my tach since it doesnt work, and it read like 0.03 is that right?
i also heard of a msd tach adapter i heard this can make your tach work, what does it do?

were does the yellow/red wire lead to from the ecu to the wiring harness

thanks for your help this has been bugging me for months

ill let you know where the yellow wire goes. i have my harness in the trunk of my car. it might go to the cas on the engine but i will double check around 5 p.m est

oh yeah goj cloud, i asked around to see if anyone had any tachs but no luck. hopefully you can get it fixed without getting a new one.

I have had the same problem. I have been told that the way to fix it is to run the signal wire directly from the output of the ignitor chip that goes to the first cylinder. Several people have told me that this is the only way to get the tach working.
