SR Swap Problems

First let me start by saying NEVER BUY A MOTOR FROM JSA MOTORS. No MAF sensor, wrong alternator, and modified parts (when the package was supposed to be a "complete" swap) but anyway the motor is installed as of today and i am having some trouble starting it. The wiring harness was professionally prepared by Enjuku Racing so I don't think that it is a wiring problem, but the engine won't spark, and from the looks of it no gas is reaching the pistons.

We know there is pressure in the gas lines aka. the fuel pump should be ok

We did the old fashioned test by taking out the plug while we tried to start the engine. Nothing. Thats how we saw that the piston was dry. Any help would be greatly appreciated (I haven't had my car in 7 months.) Thank You!

Yeah the ignitor is connected, does it need to be mounted or can it just hang?

JSA's site is Japanese Engines Japanese Motors JDM Engines JDM Motors Used Honda Engines Used Nissan ENgines Used Toyta Engines Used Mitsubishi Engines Used Mazda Engines. All our engines & transmissions have low mileage.

ok so your fuel pump is on ok. good, wiring is right. know the plug inside the car under the dash..is that connected? If not, you may want to connect it. Then, check your grounds. It's got to be a bad ground somewhere on the fuel injector harness. It took me one week to find out what was wrong with my sr. Come to find out I never had the connector under the dash connected.. <---RETARD!

Make sure the ECM relay is operating; if not, the fuse could be out and just like ZELL says, check all the grounds. It looks like the ECM is not providing ignition signaling and injector signaling.

Which fuse/plug are you talking about?

The only ground that i can find that might not be right is coming off the back of the block, its one of those that has the plug on the end, but i can't find anywhere to connect it.

Could it just be a bad ECU? And if so, how can I tell?

The plug I'm talking about is the white (if you had a SOHC, or a brown plug) that's located in the passenger side dash, near the ecu. It's where teh engine harness meets the dash harness. Make sure that plug is plugged in. and for the grounds, you should have 2 grounds on top of the intake manifold, or somewhere in that general area. These are for the 4 fuel injectors.

I still can't find that plug, but i checked the grounds on the top of the manifold, and they are ok. I'm still stumped.

this plug. Make sure this plug is connected underneath the dash. (I know the wires are cut in this picture, but this is the only picture I can think of. It's from heavythrottle.com about the wiring.)

That plug doesn't exist on my car, I'm guessing when i had my wires done by enjuku, they just eliminated the plug.

update

ok, I fixed the spark issue, but there stilll isn't any fuel coming through the injectors. I took off the fuel rail because someone told me that the injectors might just be seized, and that i should soak them in gasoline. we'll see what happens

thats an essential connector. without it, you cant read mph rpm. etc. on guage cluster.

i called enjuku, and they said that they just eliminated the plug and added it in with the rest of the harness, so that shouldnt be the problem. it has to be fuel related since i know that i'm getting spark now
