The newly installed Apex'i Auto timer for NA and Turbo won't release the key until the counter gets to zero. I know that the release button won't work unless there is power to the cylinder... but why is there no power to the button??? I have used the S13 Apex'i harness and otherwise everything is fine. Not being able to remove the key makes the timer more or less useless don't you think??? A little help would go along way.

The hand brake has to be pulled up for the timer to work properly; if you're doing that, then your wiring is screwed up. Re-read the installation instructions.

I used the harness from Apex'i and checked the wiring, the turbo timer works great count down and everything are fine. The engine shuts off when I release the handbrake as well, but I can't remove the key until the engine shuts off.... Someone told me that it is the automatic shifter but I don't know what/where that is...

I also had the same problem with my Greddy turbo timer. I'm not sure how to fix it. But if anyone finds a solution to fix it. please let me know.
