SR20DET GTI-R swap

Considering this swap into my 93 civic dx hatch....need any info on a converstion of this type, is this the only front wheel drive motor of its type? I apologize if this is an absurd post

thats what i was originally told, ive heard that i would want to obviously switch the mounts and computer and do some transmission changing...i wasnt sure though cuz i dont drive a nissan

well on that website... the package for 1699.95$ comes with the ECU and trans.. and engine mounts and all of that, but its for a Nissan... So if you were to install a FWD SR20DE (T) than.... you may have to have custom mounts made.

You will have to use the ECU and Transmission which goes with the SR20DE (T)... the mounts probable custom made and for teh drive-shaft and differentials... im not entirely sure on that.

sorry, but no.

the Bluebird SSS is AWD, as well as the GTi-R.

you can MAKE those AWD SR20DETs into a FWD by using the FWD SR tranny that comes off of the FWD SR20DE (comes in such cars like the Primera or G20, SE-Rs, etc.). but there is no FWD SR20DET.

oh, and another thing. i would NEVER trust a company that sells a complete SR motorset, or what not, for under $2k. just a little FYI for you people.

actually, now that i think about it, it would be VERY funny if the fastest FWD honda became a Nissan powered car.
