Engine Removal

Were could I put a hoist on this bad boy?



Everythings disconnected I just have to find a good spot so I can take it out.
Were is it usually put?

put a chain around through the intake manifold and put two bolts connected to the head. those top holes. be carefull not to mess up the injectors. and hook up a chain to the bolts

cool, your saying to put bolts in the head on the exaust manifold side right? And then feed the chain through the IM then around the bolts on the exaust side right? or use two seperate chains: one around the IM and the other around the bolts?

one chain for each side , on the exhaust manifold side you would bolt one end of the chain with the bolt to the rear of the head. and the other to the front of the head. and then link the center to the hoist. and the intake man goes though that valley under it.

My friend rolled it and i bought it from him for 650$. Imma take the motor out find a new body and swap it in.

tight. check dat motor before you install it. do a cylinder leak down test. to see if the rings or valve seals arent leaking.
