Hi Guys,

Jean here from Sunny South Africa. I bought an imported CA18DET Motor. We've wired the motor up in my Nissan Coupe and started her up 5 days ago. How xciting !!

Now my question is the following, the turbo is throwing oil out the top, is the seal leaking or what is the problem?

Secondly, what can I do to spice up the power on this motor. I've heard some guys say slapping a T3 Turbo on will cause to much turbo lag.

We will be fitting a front mounted cooler, 76mm Exhaust and the rest is standard for now!

Any advice for me?

get some head work done ( valves, retainers ect,) and then put some bigger injectors and get your ecu flashed should put you at right about 250 + intercooler 260whp ....not to bad...and more turbo room to grow!! ....get that flywheel and driveshaft and youll be pumping out the torque
