Hello I am sorry to be a pain but I have just put a sr20det out of a u12 bluebird 1990 I was told. I have got it going and just have a few problems. I live in New Zealand and have had a lot of trouble trying to find information about this engine no one seams to no anything or do not wont to say. I hope you are willing to help me I have used the primera p11 loom witch I have put this engine in to it’s a 1999 my problems are:

1.When I start the car it reeves up then goes down but stalls

2.no Speedo

3.overheats or shows on the gage that it is and fans do not cut in

the car goes just not that good.

If you could help that would be much appreciated.

did u use the engine sensors that came on the bluebird or from the engine u took out the car. jap sensors are not compatible with non jap ecu's. thats 2 of your problems the gauge and the fans not coming on. the stalling problem is more difficult. there are more things that could cause that. what airflow meter are u running? the speedo should be working if u used your orignal tranny and sensor. it doesn't have nothing to do with the engine. what cpu are u running?
