Mileage

This is one for anyone out there who can help... I have to drive 45 mins every morning to school in rush hour traffic on two major freeways. Is there any known modification that will help an SR20DE engine in getting better gas mileage? Usually get 33 mpg freeway (which is awesome) but the freeway is stand still every morning and usually my mpg sucks! Any information is helpful

You could swap your engine to a GA16.

My mpg increased with Intake, spark plugs and plug wires. It Increased slightly with the header and exhaust as well. An ECU will maximize the effect of the mods, which will help mpg and power. Also, make sure the timing is in the 15-17 degree range.
