Clicking noise near clutch pedal?

I had changed my clutch cable last summer and probably 4 months later i hear a clicking noise when ever i release the clutch pedal..its kind of annoying me..it sounds like each little strand of the cable is snapping butthe cable is ok tho, its not tight...anyone know if my clutch pedal is going bad or could it be a spring problem...

get at me...

It could be anything from the clutch lever on top of the tranny or an incorrectly installed throwout bearing.

Sometimes the pivot point for the clutch pedal gets old, and the bushing inside it dries out and starts to crumble. My B13 did the same thing, I just squirted some silicone up there, and it stopped doing it. You'll have to do this every 3-4 months or so to keep the bushing lubed.
