Hello,

I have the mentioned car w/ 170,000 miles. It looks like the fuel pump went out on me. My question is:

How do I access the fuel pump? Will I have to take off the tank or can I access it from inside somehow??

well... you could drop the tank ..but I wouldn't... my b13 has a plate under the back seat. remove the seat to revile where the wires plug into to control the fuel pump... there are three,or four phillips screws . and
you can get to it.

that should be the easiest way to get to it.
