It just doen't make any sense??

Why do people bother modding the SR20 already? You have to spend thousands of dollars to get it to the level of a RB26DETT. WTF? It just doesn't make any sense. Just by a skyline already, now that you can get them, or a VQ30DETT 300ZX. Quit wasting you time on stupid 4 cylinders.

Wondering WTF I'm talking about and why I'm talking shit like a loser???

I hate it when people bounce into the GA forum and start trashing GA's. So this is for purplehaze and all of the other people who can't mind there own business. Guess what guys? Every motor's got its relative strengths and weaknesses, yours included. Got something constructive to say? Come on in! Got suggestions for GA performance? Great! Got love for the SR20? Right on! There's plenty of places for you to express it! But for a lot of people, the GA is a labor of love too guys, so don't go around ripping on it (especially when you aren't necessarily experienced with it), and particularly don't start ripping on it in the freaking GA16 forum.

The QR and QG people know how I feel too.

Oh, BTW: I think the SR20 is a fantastic motor.

Just ignore the haters man. The GA16DE has me amazed, especially after pulling the hp it did in NPM. I for one have respect for almost every Nissan motor, except the QR25DE.

You're right about what you're saying. Some people just don't know when to shut up.

Whew. Thanks, harris. I always try and keep my cool on the forums, but I'm afraid I lost it on this one. I just edited my final angry post out of existence on the 1.6 thread after reading what you said about some people not knowing when to shut up - and I don't want to be one of them!

hmm

I completely agree with Harris. I too am amazed with that engine. What difference does it make how a person wants to spend their money? A free country means you are free to do whatever you want( Unless you live in California LOL ). No disrespect here man, we all are part of this community for a reason. That negative energy would be much better spent over at the Honda forums where they can rip on the slow-tecs all day long.

My thoughts exactly, h8. You got some energy to burn, put it into something useful, not slamming the people you're supposed to be freinds with.

Don't let those "special" people get to you. We all drive Nissans. Be it the GA's, SR's, QG's, VQ's, it doesn't matter. A hobby is a hobby. People take great pride in their mods and the amount of work and time involved, including the "confused" who can't understand why we do what we do. I'll be another in the group to say that Project 1.6 opened my eyes to the potential that the GA 1.6 has within. 230+whp is nothin to sneeze at.

To all the flamers: It's best to stay quiet and let us think you're dumb asses than to open your mouth and prove us right.
Keep it to yourselves.

i am still wondering why people buy thoes GTi-R vent/hood scope? it is ugly.

hmm 300zx and skyline cost way to much here (well i could look at 85-90 300zx for cheap price) , SR20D can be SR20DET for small amount (well just fwd with turbo) but still it is bang for bucks.

300zx cost here now 21.000 USD and i am talking about ´95-´96 car
skyline.. well double the price and you got the price here if one would be here

we dont even have evo here (got lot of STi but no evo.. first one is coming in spring)

only car that is worth something here is porsche (buy cheap new , own it for while and sell to usa for more money then you bought it at)

word, but lets be fair here, the 300 is atainablt anywhere between $5000-$12000 but the skyline is just unimaginable. Completely untouchable unless you find one converted to US spec cheap for like $40,000 which is the lowest priced one I have seen. Maybe I am blind but holy $h!t man. Thats before any mods. I don't even want to hear anyone saying well if you had a skyline you wouldn't need any more. What kind of sacralidge whould it be to own a skyline and drive it STOCK!!! Unthinkable.

300zx is expensive if you find one for less than 10k it probably has hella miles or the turbos are going bad cause the driver before probably didnt know crap about turbo and shuts it right off after driving it hard about 30-40 times on the turbo then you probably got to rebuild the motor and replace the turbos my friend spent about 5k for a jdm motor tran and install imagine what you could of done if you spent 5k on a b13 ser it would be a instant Z KILLA no hating on the Z cause i own one but its too expensive parts and all it is a very nice car but for building a race car im going with my b13 ser cause it will cost half of what i would pay for parts on my Z unless your a baller fix a Z or Skyline but for me being an average joe trying to make ends meet its going to be the ser b13.
