I am going to install an AEBS header on my 92 B13. It doesnt have any emissions controls and I am concerned that if I disable my EGR and AIV with my stock US ECU then the engine will not run right. I have heard different things on that issue, can someone give me the truth on that? Now, I can get a JWT ECU for like $500- with out the EGR/AIV programs in it. I cant afford that option at the moment. I found a used Primera GT ECU from the UK though, and I am pretty positive it doesnt have EGR/AIV programs, correct? The part number on this ECU is 23710-70J10. Will this Primera ECU work with my car? I mean, will the plugs going into my current US ECU plug right into the Primera ECU? Please give me some feedback.
