oil pressure gauge

I have a VDO sender unit. Range is 0 to 72.5 psi (0 - 5 bar) and red light is 5,8 psi (0.4bar). Can I use it with my SR20 ?

and where to measure the oil temperature?

That gauge will work fine. I'd use a adaptor from www.nissport.com for the install. The oil temp needs to takin from the oil pan.

so should I just mesure the temperature on the outside of the pan? I don't want to drill any holes into my pan.

your gonna have to drill the pan and weld a bung on to do it right.

hm?

What about to put a heat sensor into the oil release screw?
In general there would be no prob to drill and weld the pan, but I've sealed it to the engine, and would not like to remove it again.
