se-r sr20 into a 240

i was just wondering if there are any differences between an se-r sr20 and a 240sx sr20.....would an sr20 from a 93 sentra se-r fit into a '89 240sx????

There are a few differences, but it would be a headache. Distributor, intake manifold facing other way etc.. Some Silvia are non-turbo SR20DE equipped out of the box. Why not get a JDM front clip of one of those? Probably real cheap, as nobody swaps the KA out to lose 15hp.

It would be more of a headache and a $$$$ drain trying to make a FWD engine work on a RWD car. Go buy a RWD SR and be happy.

I htink the bellhousing pattern is different for a FWD SR than a RWD.I agree with everyone else.Get a RWD SR clip and do that
