Research on a Turbo project (let the flaming begin)

I am doing some beginning research on the cheapest way to turbo my car but the amount of threads on the subject is very overwhelming and 90% really don't offer much info. I am trying to find a list of the MINIMUM amount of parts needed to turbo my car. My goal is to (relatively) cheaply turbo w/ a beginner setup. I am not looking for extreme gains to start off w/ but am looking to be jumping at least over 200hp and hoping to be in the 215-225hp range. I found this list on a sticky in the turbo section but wanted to make sure it is still accurate and/or if anything has changed w/ the release of new parts or if there is a better alternative. The list is suppose to be the most basic setup. Opinions? Thanks.
JWT ECU
370cc injectors
T25 turbo
Bluebird DET Manifold
OEM or Custom Downpipe
Some sort of OEM BOV
Hotshot Intercooler with piping (or BB?)
3inch exhaust
Manual Boost Controller
ACT Street/Strip Clutch
Fuel Pump? (300ZX or Walboro?)
Oil lines
Water lines

the cheapest way to go is to get a BB intercooler, or a powerstroke desel one.

you want to make sure you have a 4 bar program on your ecu, a fuel pump wouldn't hurt. with the money you save front mounting the BB intercooler you can buy s3 cams in that group buy and have at it.

I'm estimating ~$1500 total. My friend is willing to sell his old T25 to me for $150.

You could just buy an Avenir DET for around $1500 and swap it in and have 226hp at stock boost, but while doing the swap you'd want to do a lot of things that would cost money, and you'd easily hit $3K before you knew it. Since you're going to be doing all that other stuff as well as a JWT ECU, might as well get a Z32 MAF (~$100) and have the JWT programming done for that while it's in for the other stuff. You obviously don't HAVE to do all the stuff you've listed and it would be cheaper. However if you tune things right, you'll easily make your HP goal and you should run low 13's in the 1/4 with some practice.
