diffence in 91-93 and 94+ motors?

this would be in a g20..motor is blown and i am havving difficutlies finding a donor motor..the prod date is 01-93 so i think it is a 93.5 cuz it does have a passenger side airbag and that is an indication form what i was told..thanks in advanced

You can actually use either a high port or a low port motor out of any 91-98 SE-R G20 or 200SX SE-R. The throttle body hose will need to be twisted around to hook up, but it will work. And the injector harness will fit a little different. The temp. sensors in your lower intake will have to be reused out of your old motor because there were some differences in resistance between the old and later model ECU's. Other than a few wire loom differences you can bolt them up the same. Oh, the most important thing, you need to use your old Distributor. I have a 96' 200SX SE-R base motor built and put it in my 91' SE-R.
