hm...haven't heard good things about clutchmasters. my friend has an ACT and loves the feel my my clutch. i have clutchnet. jim wolf gets their clutches from clutchnet and inscribes their name on them. clutchnet doesn't grab too hard when driving conservatively but bites down when you need it to....all with a stock weight feel.

Yeah the act is kind of hectic in traffic but if my girl can drive it every day I sure can too. Put to you this way The first day I installed it I launched at 5000 rpms I did not even break it in or nothing. To this day i've beat it up and it handles like a champ. I probably won't buy any other clutch for my cars exept ACT.
never has it slipped on me. ACT is the shit
I used an organic disc made by exedy with a Heavy duty pressure plate. Lightened oem flywheel.

I'd definitely agree. I've never had a problem with mine at all. Bought it in the beginning of '99 & is still working wonderfully.

I hear everyone talking about the staged kits....I will only be gettin the regular OEM stock clutch kit...

How about Exedy? I realy need to get away from the cheap kits cause I keep blowing them...I hate that fact though cause I never race or anything of the sort..I dont drive hard!!

I just had a Borgh/Warner kit and when I pulled it off it had a broken diaphram spring and 2 blown out srings, with 13k on it

Call courtesy or mossy and get a price for the 2000 SE clutch kit. It might be your best bet if you don't pay for an aftermarket one and the autozone is too cheap. I put an autozone in my '93 XE and it'd slip at high rpm's but I'm not so sure it was broken in yet.
