I have a 1993 Sentra SE-R and I've never regretted it being an automatic. It has pleny of pickup and as with any B13 SE-R only a few mods will make a great daily driver. Being an automatic you must remember that you will loose a little more HP through the tranny. Also, with the Level 10 transmission upgrade, you could have a beast on your hands! As for the VLSD, some had them and some didn't. Most Canadian B13 SE-R's had them from what I understand. Don't go by the sticker on the door either because in most cases it's wrong. That being said, the auto tranny with the VLSD is the RE4F03V. The paper tag for this transmission is located on the governor cap. Mine says 32X75V. So does the V in there mean I have VLSD, I don't know!

I also have a B13 XE that I use as a daily driver which has a manual tranny. I must admit that I'm partial to the auto tranny thanks to hating to have to shift through rush hour!

I'd go with a manuel if you can find one. They are decently faster then auto's. When I look at quarter mile times of people with automatic tranny's it makes me very happy that I have a manuel. Rush hour isnt to bad... It gives your calf a good workout.
