G20 stumbling from 1000 - 3200 RPMs w/ flat accel

I've put in new plugs, air filter, fuel filter and a few other basic `just-bought-a-used-car' things. I've tested the TPS voltage, the MAF ground, and I've cleaned the pipes that go to the BPT valve. I can't seem to figure out why my car is stumbling at low RPM's and the acceleration is flat all the way across the board. I don't think it's the EGR problem becuase when I disconnect it from the BPT and plug the vac line, there is no change what so ever. I don't think it's bad compression becuase I can still go up a steep hill without issue. and here's the kicker. when the car is cold (presumably when the computer is in closed loop mode) it runs great! when it warms up a bit (switches over to open loop mode) it runs crappy. It's completely not noticable if I'm very light on the gas, but the second I start to get on it, I sputters (below 3200) and is flat (not preforming like a SR20DE should). any ideas before I take it to the (gasp) dealer for diag? I'm thinking possibly MAF, but I don't want to throw parts at it if I'm not sure.

The 0-2 sensor? My 94 se-r did the same thing and that's what it was.

Have you checked your timing? You could also have an intake leak. I'm not doubting se-r 57, but I find it strange that a bad O2 would cause significant running issues, gas mileage would be poor, but that's about it. I only say this because in all the things I've looked at in my FSM for stumbling acceleration, poor idle, etc. it's never mentioned the O2 sensor as being something that might cause those symptoms. Nonetheless, I'm going to change mine out and see if it helps with my issues, it probably needs one anyway.

go figure. the second I bought an 02 sensor...

the problem stopped. the timing seems fine and I've checked for intake leaks (I'll check again with my powder ball this weekend) with nothing comming up. what I'm leaning towards now is the EGR valve. I unplugged it a few days ago, and the problem didn't go away. BUT, if it was stuck open, and just closed yesterday, the problem won't come back until it sticks open again. Soooo, what I'll do is pull it out, inspect it, clean/replace it, and put it back in with new hoses and see if I'm 5 by 5. thanks for all the help guys. and I think SE-R 57 was right most of the way. At least just having the O2 sensor in the passenger seat of my car scared it into working right!!!!!!

I think it's time I replaced my 02 sensor I noticed that Courtesy Nissan gets over 100 bucks for them. Is that what they cost??

Yea there that much. Just go to your local auto parts store and get a bosch. They make the 02 sensors for nissan. Probably about 60 bux or so.
