There's the Nissan Avenir, in an AWD drivetrain with an improved turbo manifold design and a T25 with a front mounted IC. Output is around 226HP.

The Pulsar GTiR is also AWD with a T28 similar output to the Avenir. The GTiR is a bit different motor, it has stronger internals and can put down higher numbers than other SR20DET's without having to make major changes. It comes with a top mounted IC.

Then there are other SR20DET's that I don't know where they come from, but they put out lower numbers than the GTiR and the Avenir and come with T25s and top mount IC's.

Then there are various Silvia RWD SR20DET's and I don't know shit about them other than they don't fit in FWD configurations like the AWD ones can, at least not without extensive modification.

I think there's a few others out there but that's about all I know about them. Do some searching at www.sr20deforum.com, you'll find out more there. Also search/ask in the turbo forums here.

I think Bluebird's are front wheel drive. Most of the differences are in the turbo size, where the intercooler is located, injector size, compression ratio, and block code. The GTi-R is a 54C block which is superior to the other SR20 blocks, it has bigger rod bearings and a better oiling system. Also, the SR20DET's come with piston oil coolers. GTi-R compression is 8.3:1, where the bluebird and Avenir have 8.5:1. The GTi-R has 440cc/min injectors, the bluebird motor has 370cc/min. The Bluebird block has more parts that are interchangeable with the USDM SR20's, so it's a little easier to get parts.

There are no front wheel drive SR20DETs. However, the AWD tranny of the Bluebird unbolts, and the tranny of the FWD NX2000/G20/SE-R bolts up fine.

That's not true at all...Bluebird's are Front wheel drive and as far as I know, Avenir's are too. The GTi-R is AWD, and that tranny has yet to be adapted

The Avenir, like the Bluebird, is also AWD.

Trust me. I have a Bluebird engine in the garage. The transmission from it is almost as large as the engine itself!

FWD = front wheel drive, not four wheel drive.

All Bluebirds are AWD, no front wheel drive.
