Your engine is internally balanced. The only thing close to a harmonic balancer that it has is a rubber damper on the crank pulley and that can be discarded without having any problems. If you're trying to get access to your pulleys and belts with your wheel on that's not helping you any. Taking your wheel off is the least difficult part of what you're trying to do. Then you need to remove the plastic guard that protects your pulleys and belts from the wheel well.
