the only place on the net i have found that
has a high concentration of parts for my 97' SE-R
is stillen, but i dont feel like getting ripped off, so i dont want
buy from there. i just want some simple bolt-ons to make
my care respectable, and trust me i have searched.
Does K&N make a CAI for my car, i havent found one so....
i personaly have gotta most of my mods from stillen, jwt, or sr20development. i have enjoyed the quality but if you dont want to spend the money hotshot offers good produces with a little less cost to the buyer i would stay away from pacesetter just me(dont like rust)

I personaly don't think Stillen is a rip off. They have the best headers (i've read) if you are looking for headers in the future.
As for a cold air intake, I would just make your own with parts from the good old Home Depot. It's much cheaper and it's fun putting togeather since you get to build it yourself. Just make sure you buy actual metal piping because you don't want to end up with a half assed air intake. You can get the metal piping at Home Depot and ask any muffler shop to mandrel bend it for you at any angle. All you really need is a straight piece and a 90 degree bent piece.
Your going to have to drill your own holes and make your own air inlets for your intake though.
So, I guess you can spend $250 for everthing you'll need pre-fabricated or build your own for less than $100.
Yeah I get shit all the time...
but it does not bother me having a auto...
I have had my share of manuals and plus my wife does not want to drive a manual and I can't affored another car
But Even though I have a auto it is still fast...
I will also have my 50 Shot on by next week

HotShot's headers are pretty much known to be the best ones out there, with the AEBS coming a close second. If you are going to mod your suspension or lower the car, you'll hit with the AEBS (it dosn't clear aftermarket sway bars and it hangs really low).
Jim Wolf has a lot of the best parts, as does Mossey Nissan and Superior Nissna in SoCal. Here's what I'd go with: HotShot header and cold air, JWT cams, and an exhaust. Then a nice street suspension (AGXs and G/Cs), Progress sway bars and you'll have a lot more power and the car will be a blast to drive.
IMHO, Stillen header is a distant 3rd in power (check the SCC header shootout) and their sales guys are in it to jam parts down your throat, I doubt they could install any of the parts they sell.
