Air intake for 2001 SE

Hi there. I want to get an idea from those of you who are using an air intake on your 2000-up Sentra SE.

Which brand are you using? How do you like the fit and finish? Do you notice a difference in performance? Dyno #'s?

I was looking at the intake from AEM, anyone using it? Any good or bad opinions on it?

TIA.

Tony

i have a AEM CAI that i had for my 2002 SE with p/p.
id like to customize it to fit my 1992 SE-R.

it was used for less than 2,000 miles and it's very noticable at 4,000 RPM+.

i can take some pics of everything for you.
i have the original box, manual, and all parts.
there is a minor band in the mesh covering my filter, but very small.

check here (they have it listed at $299.95): http://www.tuneshops.com/order-Auto~...ake-1-4866.htm

i paid $320 when i first got it almost a year ago.
i'd be willing to sell it to you for $200?

Yeah, AEM is good along with HotSHot, but not sure if HotShot sells a CAI for a '01 SE.

Have you heard about the AEM V2 CAI? It uses dual intake tubes instead of one increasing horses. I actually made my own version of this intake and put it on my 1994 Sentra XE. I tactually worked except I had to make the both tubes smaller than the original V2's size piping since I have a smaller engine then it was designed for. I don't have sheets to prove it, but I did feel a difference. If you want to check out that intake click this link:
