Hi ALL,
i need some advice. I got into autocross and really love it, but i want more power from my 91 se-r and i hear that going turbo for autocross gets really messy. So i was just wondering if anyone knows a good way to squeeze about 200 hp naturaly aspired out of this car. I don't think i'll need anymore for a while! I know about all the headers, pulleys, intake and exhaust mods, but i doubt they will add up to 200 horses. My other option i sr20det, but that's turbo! Some advice please!!!
thanks,
i have heard about the ve model of the engine but don't know of anyone who has one or has any experience with them. would it be a direct drop like the sr20det for the sentra or is t here much m ore too it?
Check out the two articles in Nissan Performance Magazine that detail the install pretty well. And since it's also an SR20 block, it'll install very easily also using all the OEM motor mounts and SR20 tranny. If you begin with an SE-R, the install is twice as easy as with a base model/non-SE-R vehicle.
