SR20det question..

Im looking at sr20det pictures... and all the trannys are sticking out the back.. unlike the sr20de's.. where the tranny is out the side.... so let me ask.. does the lets say Sr20de' tranny bolt on the sr20det Redtop engine?... or does it have to be dropped in where the valve cover is facing back and forth, instead of side to side? im really lost on SR20-t's...

sr20det's are both rwd and fwd(awd to be technical). u are looking at rwd sr20det's in s13-s15 prolly. (back and forth/ and side to side)

I agree. The US spec tranny will bolt up to the BB block with the exception of a couple bolts, but that does not compromise the install at all. Will work like a dream with that boost behind it.

cool.. im definatly looking into at least an sr20 for the time being.. if i can find a VE, or DET.. id be MORE than glad.. im just worried about inspection crap.. blah
